Step 1: Coach Licence Renewal E-mail Received from Archery GB

PAGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Introduction

This webpage initially explains what is happening in the coach licence renewal process when you receive the e-mail from AGB explaining that your coach licence is due for renewal. It then goes onto explain what you need to do to complete this part of the renewal process. To achieve these two aims, this webpage has been split into the following sections:

  1. What happens in the process; and
  2. What you need to do.
Step What Happens in the Process
1.

Receive e-mail explaining that your coach licence will expire in 30 days.

This coach licence renewal e-mail notification should be titled Archery GB – [your name] Coach Licence Will Expire in 30 Days and will be sent from a Sport 80 no reply e-mail address. This e-mail notification contains the following two hyperlinks:

  1. https://www.archerygb.org/coaches-judges-volunteers/licencing-renewal/coach-licence-renewal/
  2. Click here to login and renew your licence.

The first of these links will take you to the AGB Renew Archery Coaching Licence webpage. With the exception of the Coach Licence Renewal Guide, all of the remaining files needed to renew your coach licence can be found under the Resources section (there is NO Resources section yet defined!!!) of this webpage.

The second link will take to the Sport 80 logon page. However, in relation to coaching matters, your Sport 80 account only holds information on your Safeguarding and DBS certificates and information on the status of your coaching licence.

Step What You Need to Do
1(a)

Check that your DBS certificate is valid and this is done through your Sport 80 account.

For more information on how to access your Sport 80 account to view your DBS certificate and what to do in the event that it has lapsed or will lapse prior to the date that your current coach licence expires, see the Determining the Status of Your DBS Certificate webpage of the Sport 80 DBS User Guide.

1(b)

Check that your Safeguarding certificate is valid and this is also done through your Sport 80 account.

For more information on how to access your Sport 80 account to view your Safeguarding certificate and what to do in the event that it has lapsed or will lapse prior to the date that your current coach licence expires, see Determining the Status of Your Safeguarding Certificate webpage, or the Sport 80 Safeguarding Check User Guide.

It also explains the process followed by the Panel, the possible outcomes to the renewal application and details on the appeals process.
